Southeast Iowa is where Rocking Chair Puppies call home.  It is our goal to produce healthy, happy Teddy Bear (Shih Tzu/Bichon Frise) puppies in which they can become a loving member of your family.  Our puppies are well socialized and played with on a daily basis.

All of our adult dogs are purebred and registered.  The puppies we raise are only produced from these purebred parents, making them first generation crosses or F1 hybrids.  Occasionally, we may have some purebred Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise puppies.  We own both parents, and have raised our adults from puppies.

We work closely with our veterinarian, Dr. Travis J. Van De Berg.  He manages our health program and provides us all of the medical needs of our dogs.

We use and suggest feeding Nutrisource dog food. We believe in feeding a high quality, premium brand food.  If you prefer not to feed Nutrisource, please consider using another premium brand of food.  It may cost a little more per bag, however your puppy will eat less and will do better than feeding a cheaper brand, with more fillers.
